The Journal of Beckett Studies has been the journal of record for the established and expanding field of Beckett studies for forty years. Founded by Beckett’s biographer James Knowlson and well-known Beckett critic John Pilling in 1976, the journal covers topics such as corporeality, disability, politics, psychology, aesthetics, gender, translations, modernism and more.

The publishers of the Journal, Edinburgh University Press, and co-editors, Dirk Van Hulle and Mark Nixon, have once again committed to providing a 20% reduction in subscription rates to members of the Samuel Beckett Society. This generous discount allows members to stay informed and keep abreast of current scholarship throughout the discipline.

We urge all members to consider subscribing and invite new and prospective members to avail of the offer. Membership can be acquired by following this link.
